Fantasy Picks 2011 - We Made it to Daytona!

Daytona 2011 is in the books. None of us picked the winner. Who'd have thought a AAA Saturday night racer would beat all the veterans? This kid can't even contend for Rookie of the Year, since he's running only a handful of races due to lack of sponsorship. Hmmmm. That could and should all change after today's race.

End of Season

The NASCAR season is over and the sad truth has come out....the Princess did not win. It is a sad, sad world when the BIGGEST fan comes in FOURTH! And let the trash talking begin now, because I am going to kick some patootie next year, so watch out!

Phoenix

You're wondering how close our family fantasy picks' race has gotten.

There is only one more race until the Chase winner is declared. It is still up for grabs for Hamlin, Johnson and Harvick. And because last week's family contest was so close, I decided to amp up the anticipation by not announcing the scores for Phoenix. Although scores have been recorded on the chart, I do not know who is in first, second, etc. place. Next week I will score the same way, not tallying up the scores.

We will all be together on Thanksgiving, and that is where the winner will be announced. Those of us who do not come in first can console ourselves by eating too much dinner and way too much dessert.
